Electrical maintenance and testing can cover a wide range of infrastructure and equipment.  The minimum tests for any program will consist of:

Trip time tests annually and a push button test every 6 months will ensure your circuit protection is operating in accordance with the standard.

Thermal imaging all switchboards annually will help identify potential faults before they can cause fire, damage or power outage.  Loose terminals and faulty electrical components often get very hot making it easy to identify with a thermal camera.

A 90 min emergency light test every 6 months is required to ensure all exit and emergency lights will stay on for at least 90 mins in an emergency situation where there is a loss of power and a need to evacuate.

All electrical equipment that is plugged into a power outlet is to be tested and tagged on a routine basis to ensure its safe for use.
